Charity Work

Raising funds for worthy causes

We donate every year to charitable and community causes across the UK, many of which are personal to the AMA team. Here are just a few of the charities that we support.

CRASH

CRASH is the charity of the UK construction industry. By helping homelessness and hospice organisations with construction projects, CRASH creates environments where families can spend precious time together, ensuring people are cared for when they’re at their most vulnerable. We support the charity in partnership with our long-standing customer, VolkerFitzpatrick.

ORCA Charity

ORCA is committed to protecting the world’s whales and dolphins, identifying areas where they may be vulnerable and tackling activities that endanger them such as shipping, fishing, noise pollution and marine litter. Every year, AMA Waste raises money for the charity and takes parts in activities to help preserve the life of these beautiful creatures.

Save the Children

Save the Children is very close to our hearts at AMA. We believe every child should be given the best possible start in life, and the work that Save the Children does is nothing short of inspiring. We have held various fundraising events for the charity over the years, with an ongoing pledge to double whatever we have raised by the end of the year.

The 23 Foundation

The 23 Foundation was founded by Jamie Carrager in 2009 to make a difference to young people in Merseyside and “help give local kids a chance”. The charity now supports good causes across the world, from

Community Support

Supporting local sports clubs

We recognise the role that sport plays in bringing communities together. That’s why we sponsor several grass-roots clubs across the east of England, as well as the University of East Anglia football team, which competes in the Anglian Combination league. Our sponsorship and ongoing support is helping these clubs develop players at all ages.

UK Waste Solutions Limited has enjoyed significant growth in recent years and now has 3,500 customers.
